The NDNS Quality Framework is designed to ensure that recipients receive the services they require, and that services are delivered in a way that respects and protects the rights of the recipient by:

• Measuring compliance with the relevant Standards
• Monitoring quality of services provided to the recipient, and
• Managing risk, including compliance with legislation and regulations

NDNS complies with the following Standards:

• The Australian Nursing Council National Competency Standards for the Registered and Enrolled Nurse
• Competency Standards for Community Registered Nurse (ACCNS) 2002

Certification under the:

• Attendant Care Industry Management System (ACIMSS) Standards 2008
• NSW Disability Service Standards 2012
