National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDNS is a registered NDIS provider. As a participant you can engage us to deliver the supports you've identified in your plan, including complex nursing, social support, personal care and domestic services.

What is the NDIS?
The government identified gaps in disability support services across all states. People with a disability were caught in a system that responds to crisis, a system that drips out support rather than invests in someone's future.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been established and is changing the way disability services are delivered. Rather than funding based on budget allocations, funding is provided based on assessed needs.
It recognises disability as a lifetime approach, supporting choice for people with disability, their families and carers, putting people in control of the care and support they receive, based on need.
Who is eligible?
Eligibility depends on your situation, your goals and your choices. The first step is to contact the NDIS. An appointment will be organised where you will meet with a planner to determine eligibility. Once eligibility is confirmed, you will develop an individualised plan, choose your supports and implement your plan.
You may be eligible if you have a significant permanent disability, you are under 65 years of age, and you cannot join activities without assistive technology or equipment, or join activities at home or in the community without support.
What does the NDIS provide?
You choose how you want to manage your individual funding. The scheme funds supports that will assist a participant to undertake activities of daily living required due to the person's disability. This includes aids and equipment, home modifications, personal care, domestic assistance, therapies, nursing care and dental, participation, community access and social support.
