Nursing & wound care
Clinical nursing in your own home, provided by one of our Registered Nurses across Newcastle, the Hunter and the Mid North Coast.

NDNS provides community nursing and home nursing for people who need clinical care without leaving home. Our Registered Nurses deliver care across Newcastle, the Hunter and the Mid North Coast, from wound care at home and medication management to post-hospital support and complex clinical nursing.
Community nursing at home
Clinical nursing is provided in your own home by one of our Registered Nurses. That means less travel, less waiting, and care that fits around your life. We carry out assessments, monitor your health, manage medications and continence, and liaise with your GP and specialists so your care stays joined up.
Wound care at home
Slow-healing wounds need consistent, skilled attention. Our nurses provide wound care at home, including dressing changes, infection control, and monitoring of nutrition and wound healing, so wounds are managed properly without repeat trips to a clinic.
Palliative care at home
For people living with a life-limiting illness, we provide palliative care at home, focused on comfort, dignity and support for the whole family, including pain and symptom management and grief and bereavement support.
Post-hospital and ongoing support
Coming home from hospital is a vulnerable time. We provide post-hospitalisation care, professional reports, rehabilitation support, falls prevention, and the management of chronic and complex conditions, helping you recover and stay well at home.
Our nursing supports clients funded through Support at Home, CHSP, the NDIS, DVA, Lifetime Care and privately.
